User Experience Enhancements
The tSM platform evolves not only in terms of features and APIs, but also in its user experience.
We continuously improve the interface to make it more intuitive, faster, and enjoyable to use.
From shortcuts that save time to design changes that reduce complexity, these enhancements ensure that daily work in tSM feels smooth and efficient.
Quick Menu
ℹ️ Available from V2.4
The Quick Menu allows users to define their most frequently used actions and access them instantly.
Examples include:
- Create customer
- Open order
- Log ticket
- Add lead
The menu is accessible from a dedicated icon in the top navigation bar.
Each user can customize their quick actions according to their role and preferences, reducing clicks and speeding up routine work.
Improved Animations
ℹ️ Delivered in V2.3, refined further in V2.4
tSM includes smooth, consistent animations across the application to provide a modern and polished feel:
- Button states and transitions are unified.
- Dialog and form interactions feel more responsive.
- Animations are lightweight, optimized for performance.
These enhancements improve the perceived speed of the application and create a more pleasant user experience.
Listing Colors & Cell-Level Styling
ℹ️ Enhanced in V2.4
The ability to highlight values in listings with color coding already exists in tSM.
However, the current implementation requires transferring all relevant data to the UI for evaluation, which can impact performance and makes configuration more complex.
We are improving this feature by:
- Moving color calculation to the backend, reducing the amount of data processed in the browser.
- Making the configuration simpler and more user-friendly, so administrators can define rules without deep technical knowledge.
- Preserving the flexibility to apply row or cell-level highlighting for statuses, priorities, or anomalies.
This ensures listings remain both high-performing and visually informative.
Configurable Task Card
ℹ️ Enhanced in V2.4
Today, the User task card shown in the People section (e.g. on a ticket detail) is generated by hard-coded logic in tSM Core.
Extending the card with more information currently requires code changes.
The goal is to make the task card fully configurable:
- Define task cards through a configuration profile.
- Build the card using Form Designer components instead of code.
- Default card remains available if no custom card is defined.
This enables flexible layouts (status, assignee, group, actions, custom fields, icons) that can be adjusted per project without code changes.
Vision
User Experience Enhancements will continue to focus on:
- Personalization – giving users more control over their workspace (quick menus, dashboards, shortcuts).
- Performance & simplicity – moving complex logic (like listing colors) to the backend.
- Visual clarity – consistent design, responsive animations, and intuitive styling.
- Business-friendliness – tooltips, explanations, and context help that make advanced features accessible to everyone.
With these improvements, tSM ensures that enterprise applications are not only powerful and configurable, but also pleasant and easy to use.
