TSM Versioning and Roadmap
Product release numbering
Product releases use generation.feature-line.update.hotfix, for example 2.4.3.1:
- Update (
2.4.3.0): compatible new functionality and fixes within a feature line. - Hotfix (
2.4.3.1): a corrective assembly of a released update, without new product features. - Feature line (
2.5.0.0): a planned customer upgrade with a broader compatibility assessment. - Generation: a major architectural or conceptual change.
The product release and its BOM identify a tested combination. Individual unchanged components keep their previous artifact versions and digests. Read the versioning contract for branches, snapshots, immutable manifests, UI/NPM and upgrade rules; it applies to both 2.4 and 2.5.
Release scheduling, supported baselines and Product Maintenance Premium coverage follow the applicable release policy and commercial agreement. Numbering alone does not establish a delivery date or support window.
The roadmap below is the historical October 2024 snapshot. Its original version labels and release categories have been retained; they must not be used to infer the new four-part release contract.
